As the days are getting shorter and the dark winter months are fast approaching, the clubs in Amsterdam are prepping their establishments for the yearly Amsterdam Dance Event. For the 14th time already Amsterdam will be the stage for national and international acts of stature and thus the Sneakerz MUZIK upcoming dj’s and producers cannot be left out. Saturday October 24th, from 22:00 till 05:00 hrs the classy Studio and Lounge at Escape will be reserved for a special Sneakerz MUZIK showcase, featuring the various artists whom have brought colour to the label with their fantastic productions.
Sneakerz MUZIK label & events, sibling of the well-known Sneakerz parties, has planned a massive musical program for this ADE. The Studio will boast very apt foreign producers, while in the Lounge co-operation will be the mantra, as artists will follow one another in back-to-back formations. At only € 7,50 a pop, situated in the bustling hart of Amsterdam, experiencing the ultimate ADE kick, 7 hours of non-stop Sneakerz beats, is truly a bargain!
Studio: international house
Special attention is directed at some much respected duo’s you will seldom see in The Netherlands. Not always that well known to the wider audience but very much respected by and inspiring to the in-crowd dj scene. For example house geniuses Prok & Fitch, who have recently produced a fantastic remix of Housequake’s ‘Shed My Skin’, released on Sneakerz MUZIK. They also mixed the 10th edition of the Sneakerz compilation series, ‘Sneakerz Festival’, together with charismatic Italian duo The Cube Guys, who will also throw a smashing house set at this Amsterdam Dance Event showcase.
Additionally, strong German support will come from climax king Ollie Goedicke, aka D.O.N.S. He saw his career take off when he produced the remix bundle of ‘Pump Up The Jam’, the quintessential house hit by Technotronic. He has repeated this very successful trick ever since, for example with tracks like ‘Big Fun’ and ‘The Nighttrain’. Recently he payed his respects to the late King of Pop by remixing Michael Jackson’s ‘Earth Song’ into a flashy house version. D.O.N.S. will share the stage with his fellow countrymen Lissat & Voltaxx, two house producers whom have been making a living as a duo only since 2006, their final breakthrough came in 2008 with their remix version of ‘Silence’ by Delerium. The track made top-10 listings in 8 countries breaking the barriers for more success for Lissat & Voltaxx.
Last but not least two Eastern European acts, the absolute pride of Hungary where house is concerned. Firstly the duo Belocca & Soneec, discovered in 2006 by Housequake thanks to their thumping remix of ‘Push The Feeling On’, the popular house classic by The Nightcrawlers which took them straight to centre stage, strengthening the Dutch ties through remixes for the likes of Baggi Begovic, Peter Gelderblom and Quintino. Their second ADE performance will be in cooperation with their Hungarian colleagues Muzzaik. This duo also scores again and again with their studio projects, released on world famous labels.
Sneakerz front man Erick E will head up the Dutch delegation at the Studio, featuring young producing talent Nikolai Dimitrov and the hero from Utrecht Melvin Reese.
Lounge: back-2-back sessions
Teamwork will be the buzz word in the Escape Lounge as DJ’s will appear in sets of two. The producers of the future will be presented to you, underlining the fact that Sneakerz MUZIK is more than just a party concept. The label offers talents the opportunity to release their productions onto a platform which in turn funnels these productions into the sets of well known artists, thus finding their way to the mainstream audience. This October 24th some of these promising producers will bravely step into the spotlights and give the audience what it came for: those typical uncomplicated Sneakerz house tunes. Be surprised by Robbie Taylor & Benny Royal, Gabriel & Castellon, Carl Tricks & Marc Benjamin, Disfunktion, Jasper Bosscher & Eric Fender, Kenquo & JoeySuki.
