Dj Madskillz is well known of his energetic house sets witch combine a latin feel with a futuristic twist.
Percussion rhythms, hip-hop influence combined with minimal & acid and his own re-edits of his favorite house tunes, is what you will hear during his set.
Madskillz started to produce records in 1990 when he formed the formation Edge of Motion (together with Dylan “100% Pure” Hermelijn). Their first E.P. Set up 707 on Djax Records in 1992 became a great worldwide acid classic in the dance scene.
From that moment on Gert ( DjMadskillz) started to produce in a wide variety of styles, under different names, on more than 33 12” inches and several albums, from trip-hop to drum&bass, from techno to Latin house.
In 1997, he started to produce Latin flavored housetracks and started dj-ing under the name DjMadskillz. His projects “Caliente”, “Morning Glory” and “Redux”” are played by al the superstar dj’s around in different genres.
The last years he played on all the big events in Holland like Innercity, Supernatural festival, DejaNu, Mysteryland, El Barrio, Latin Village, SalsaLounge and Luxurush. |
