Patrick Kamminga a.k.a DJ Gimic started his dj-career at the tender age of 14.
After two years practising his skillz behind the wheels of steel,
he felt he was ready to perform in-front of a crowd.
Apparantly he wasn't the only with this idea, because soon after he
was offered club residencies at a few local clubs.
At the end of 2006 Gimic decides to expand his skillz and start
producing his own tracks.
The reactions he gets out of this are flattering, so he decides to
send his promo's to record labels.
Good luck is on his side once again, because after several months he
gets a request from Gregor Salto to remix his club hit "Mexer".
This remix will be released at the end of March 2008 on Gregor Salto's
own record label G-Rex.
Also Gimic signes to do a remix for Santos Suarez's "Krumping" and
releases two of his own productions on Patchy Recordings.
Gimic's style is best described as Funky Tech House with a hint of
Minimal influences.
The door to succes is opened! So keep an eye out for Gimic as he is
ready to take over the club scene! |
